The purpose of this qualification (NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Common Childhood Illnesses) is to increase learners' knowledge and understanding of common childhood illnesses to enable them to support the development and wellbeing of infants and children they support/care for.Learners will complete 3 mandatory units.Learners will attend college for a 3 hour session, weekly (term-time only) for 4 weeks.Within these sessions there will be tutor delivery, question and answer, discussion, observation, group work tasks and individual tasks.On completion of this qualification there are potential opportunities to complete further Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
