Covering MAG manual metal arc welding, alongside oxyfuel gas cutting and plasma cutting. You'll also learn wider skills to boost your employability, such as communication of technical information and working as part of a team, preparing you for some of the situations you may face when joining the engineering industry. In addition, through work experience, a high number of students from this programme are gaining full time work from our close contacts with industry, earning wages while still studying on the programme. From here, you can move onto a related Level 3 Programme to grow your skills or into an Apprenticeship or employment.
